The Margot-Old European cut bezel set solitaire

Product description

Ladies hand crafted and custom made diamond bezel set solitaire of contemporary styling.  The ring is crafted in 14k yellow gold and is set with one Old European Cut Diamond at center.  This diamond has a weight of 0.92ct, a clarity of SI-1 and colour of G.  The remaining shank of the ring measures 1.90mm in width and is tiffany in shape with a high polish appearance.

European cut diamonds were estimated to be cut around 1890-1930 and were cut by hand.  They still incorporate 57 -58 facets but these facets are arranged slightly different than the modern round brilliant cut diamond.
